How old are Scouts?
Scouts is for girls and boys aged 10½ to 14 years. It’s a chance to make friends, develop new skills, take on challenges and enjoy adventures together.
What is the Scout Promise?
The Scout Promise is a commitment to the values we share as Scouts. There are different versions to reflect people’s faiths and beliefs.
When do Scouts meet?
Our Scouts meet on Thursdays from 7:30pm to 9:00pm during term time.
What do Scouts do?
Scouts is all about adventure, teamwork and learning by doing. Our programme gives young people the opportunity to try new activities, develop practical skills, challenge themselves and make a difference in their community.
Activities can include:

We encourage our Scouts to take an active role in shaping their programme, choosing activities and helping to plan their adventures.
What badges can Scouts earn?
Scouts can work towards a wide range of activity badges, challenge awards and other achievements as they develop their skills and interests.

Scouts wear a teal uniform shirt with their group neckerchief and badges.

How do I join?
We currently operate a waiting list. Please complete our online form to register your interest, and a leader will be in touch when a place becomes available.
