How old are Cubs?
Cub Scouts is for girls and boys aged 8 to 10½ years. It’s a chance to make friends, learn new skills, try exciting activities and enjoy adventures together.
What is the Cub Scout Promise?
The Cub Scout Promise is a commitment to the values we share as Scouts. There are different versions to reflect people’s faiths and beliefs.
When do Cubs meet?
Our Cubs meet on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
What do Cubs do?
They have fun!
Cub Scouts is all about adventure, friendship and learning by doing. Our Cubs enjoy a varied programme of activities that helps them discover new interests, build confidence and develop skills for life.
Activities can include:

Playing games and taking on team challenges

Earning badges and learning new skills

Going on outings and visits

Camping and exploring the outdoors

Making things and getting creative

Helping others and caring for their local community

Learning how to look after themselves and their surroundings
Cubs also have the opportunity to take on new challenges, make decisions and prepare for their next adventure as Scouts.
What uniform do Cubs wear?
Cub Scouts wear a uniform that identifies them as members of the Scout Movement.
The uniform consists of:

A dark green Cub Scout sweatshirt

A group neckerchief (scarf)
Some of our Cubs also choose to purchase a polo shirt.

What badges can Cubs earn?
Cub Scouts can work towards a wide range of activity badges, challenge awards and other achievements as they develop their skills and discover new interests.
